• We welcome adopters from all over! We partner with reliable USDA-approved transport providers offering bi-weekly trips to the East Coast, Pacific Northwest, and Midwest. Transport from Texas is typically $350, which includes a USDA health certificate, a vet evaluation, and the transport itself. Over 95% of our adoptions are outside of Texas!

• All of our dogs are vet checked, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, on preventatives, and microchipped. Dogs old enough to be spayed or neutered are fixed before they go home. Puppies too young for surgery go home with a signed Sterilization Agreement: you agree to have your puppy spayed by about 6 months (girls) or neutered between 6 and 8 months (boys), and to send us proof from your vet within 7 days of the surgery. Once we have it, we'll refund part of your adoption fee. If your vet recommends waiting because of size, breed or health, just send us their note before the deadline and we can extend it.

• Please be ready before you apply! Adoptions are first come, first served, and we don't hold dogs. Once you meet your dog, you'll take them home that SAME DAY, so please make sure you're fully prepared before you apply. 

• Adopting a pet is a serious, lifelong commitment. Please apply only if you’ve thoughtfully considered the responsibility of caring for an animal for their entire life.
